I met this precious little baby girl on the weekend and I
fell in love in an instance. She has got the most adorable name – Pearl ♥Congratulations to D, M & H! I promise to
come and babysit anytime.
Our dear friend Davina is becoming a mum for the
second time, so on the weekend we celebrated with a long lunch. There is
nothing better than the mix of great food, the best of friends and little lolly
bags to take home at the end of the day. I’m very blessed to have such great
friends around me, love you girls! The only thing we can do now is to wait for
the arrival of the new addition to our group, so excited to meet her!
These photos are from our day off last week, I had my camera with me to capture our day. We
started the morning early with the Anzac dawn service and then we had breakfast
at Tarts. In the afternoon we were invited to our dear friends C & Z’s
house for champagne, wood fired pizzas and pork crackling. It was so yum and we
had the best day together!
One of the best things to do on a Thursday night is to go twilight sailing. The other thing that makes it even better is when dear friends come along to enjoy it with us. We had a great evening on the water with lots of wind in our hair, it’s such a great way to unwind from a busy week and knowing that the weekend is close makes it even better. After the twilight sail we all shared a barbeque together and enjoyed some of the best chips you can find in Perth!
I photographed a gorgeous family of three and with a little girl on the way last Sunday. The family also includes the most lovely little staffy. It was a fun and playful photoshoot with lots of smiles and a mischievous little man. Thank you for a fun and windy afternoon and I hope you will treasure the photos.
My friend Claire and I signed up to do an intensive two week ashtanga yoga course a few weeks ago and it all started this week. We arrived at the same time the first morning with our mats under our arms, both excited but a little on edge. I think we both asked ourselves why we had committed to getting up at 5.30 in the morning every weekday for two weeks. I very soon realised it’s all worth it – Today is day 4 and I’m really enjoying it. It’s a great way to start the day and its a nice break from my normal morning routine which includes weights, sprints and a loud PT. I think yoga could become my new thing..
We went to a very special little boy’s 2nd birthday party this weekend. I was amazed by the great effort put into the homemade train cake! I loved the blue and green balloons and gorgeous little lolly bags. There is something special about children’s birthday parties – It gives us all a chance to feel a little like kids again and eat lots of sugary treats. That together with dear friends makes the best weekend! I hope you enjoy the photos I captured!
We’ve come home from a lovely time with our friends in their beach house down south. The house is set amongst trees with views over the ocean and the beach is only a short walk away. The timber house has got lots of character and a great home feeling. This is one of my favourite places to go to and the home is always filled with the best of friends. I feel so relaxed there and I come home to Perth with a new fresh approach.
Adam and I had a lunch date at West End Deli together with another couple today. I love Christmas time because everyone makes just that little more effort to catch up. The company was great and the food was really good too!
I just got home from dinner with my friends. We wished Claire Happy Birthday for Thursday and we all wanted to catch up for a quick dinner before everyone goes away to celebrate Christmas with their families. When I got home and checked the letterbox I saw that Chanel had sent me a cute book with stickers. Very cute!
We enjoyed a lovely picnic with our dear friends on Sunday. The combination of great friends, good food and lots of play always put a smile on my face. I introduced a Swedish game called Kubb, I think they all enjoyed it even though the boys looked hesitant when I told them there weren’t going to be a ball involved. How could you play a game without a ball they asked?! They soon realised.
