Sheepskin - A Swedish thing?

This little apartment is so gorgeous and the floor in the kitchen is to die for. I really like the old furniture that has been given a coat of stylish white paint, very chic! The sheepskin on the bed reminds me of my friend Jodie who liked the soft “rug” I had on the floor, who in the next second jumped far away from it when I told her it wasn’t a rug.. Must just be a strange Swede thing to have sheepskin on the bed, on the floor, in prams, in a chair…. The list goes on and on!

We moved into our new apartment over the weekend and we are slowly getting everything into its place. Here are photos of our new outdoor setting. Love the table with its rustic frame and whitewashed tabletop. I’ve had my eyes set on the chairs for a while and finally yesterday I convinced my fiancé that they are the perfect chairs… so off we went to Empire!

I just had to share these pictures of a fab home in Göteborg. I just love the crazy but oh so cool mix of all the colours! The owners really gave this century old apartment a statement makeover, but still managed to keep all the good features of these types of home.

These inspiration pictures are from an apartment in Stockholm built in 1930. The renovation has been carefully done to preserve the beautiful floors and features. White walls throughout the apartment catch my eye and I like the stream of daylight that is coming through the windows.
