I met this precious little baby girl on the weekend and I fell in love in an instance. She has got the most adorable name – Pearl ♥ Congratulations to D, M & H! I promise to come and babysit anytime.

I found this gorgeous little house for sale in a small community called Örum in Sweden. It is not quiet close enough to the town where we want to have a litte holiday home, but I wish it was! This type of house really embrace the modern chic style without spoiling the atmosphere of the 200 year old home.

Baby girl

Our dear friend Davina is becoming a mum for the second time, so on the weekend we celebrated with a long lunch. There is nothing better than the mix of great food, the best of friends and little lolly bags to take home at the end of the day. I’m very blessed to have such great friends around me, love you girls! The only thing we can do now is to wait for the arrival of the new addition to our group, so excited to meet her!

Storm

The weather has been unreliable the last few days and all this wind and stormy weather reminds me of home. I cant help but actually enjoying it! There is nothing better than rugging up and listening to the rain against the windows while the inside is warm and surrounded by cosy lit candles. My fellow colleagues think I’m slightly strange as they struggle through the cold(?) Perth winter weather! We have another crazy storm hitting Perth tonight so stay safe everyone.

Coffee Table

Our hunt for a coffee table with the label “just right” had been going on for a few weeks when we snapped one up on the weekend. The truth is that I knew all along what I wanted, but it took some time for me to reassure my other half that this was the table for us. He was a little unsure about it and to be honest I think he thought it looked weird! Then last Saturday we went back to the shop and had another look. He finally agreed it would be a cool addition to our otherwise streamlined room. The only thing I had in the back of my mind all along was the colour.. I just didn’t think that the natural wood would look quiet right with the rest of the furniture, I thought a couple of white washes would make it perfect. I decided to take one battle at the time and kept quiet about my thoughts about the change I wanted to make to our brand new, not so cheap, piece of furniture.. As you can see – I gave it a nice wash of white colour in the end!

Sheepskin - A Swedish thing?

This little apartment is so gorgeous and the floor in the kitchen is to die for. I really like the old furniture that has been given a coat of stylish white paint, very chic! The sheepskin on the bed reminds me of my friend Jodie who liked the soft “rug” I had on the floor, who in the next second jumped far away from it when I told her it wasn’t a rug.. Must just be a strange Swede thing to have sheepskin on the bed, on the floor, in prams, in a chair…. The list goes on and on!

Balcony

We moved into our new apartment over the weekend and we are slowly getting everything into its place. Here are photos of our new outdoor setting. Love the table with its rustic frame and whitewashed tabletop. I’ve had my eyes set on the chairs for a while and finally yesterday I convinced my fiancé that they are the perfect chairs… so off we went to Empire!
